COVID-19 Update – MARCH 17, 2020:
The Community Council together with Fr. Spiridon Vandoros continue to monitor the ongoing pandemic of the COVID-19 virus. The most recent encyclicals from the Archdiocese of Canada ask that those that are 65 years of age and up as well as everyone that is feeling sick or has recently traveled outside of the country should stay home. Furthermore, no more than 50 people will be allowed to attend church services.
Please ensure that this information is communicated to your friends and family members that do not have access to Facebook.
We are currently making arrangements to live stream our services either through YouTube or Facebook. More information will be made available as we have it. We encourage all of the faithful to practice social distancing and limit your exposure to others by staying home and going out only when necessary. We realize how important attending church services is to our members. However, by taking these measures now, we can ensure that we are all healthy and able to attend when the danger has passed.
Church is anywhere that faithful congregate including the home. Let us all pray together with our families for an end to the pandemic.
Chris Perentes, President on behalf of Fr. Spiridon Vandoros and St. Paul’s Community Council
