St. Paul’s School of Byzantine Music to begin in October

The aim of the school is to introduce the marvel and beauty of the music of our Orthodox faith and tradition. Teaching will be available for children and adults, men and women.
Lessons will be conducted in both Greek and English. A basic knowledge of the Greek language is required. The duration of this school will be a minimum of two years, with the possible continuation for a third year.
The two years will be divided into four semesters of study, two semesters per year. Each semester will be divided into fifteen weeks of teaching, following proficiency exams at the end of each year.
The teaching will take place in the Church Hall and the proposed hours of teaching are at approximately two hours per week.
Tuition for the first year is $200 per semester payable to St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church.
